The Real Deal behind Crescent Processing Company Complaints

Crescent Processing Company is one of the top providers of credit card processing and other merchant services in the country today. Our more than 50,000 clients include retail stores, restaurants, hotels, resorts and even online businesses based in varying locations within the United States.

For several years, Crescent has been the top choice of merchants when it comes to credit card processing because of the high quality of service that we are known for. We are fully committed to our clients and would go to great lengths just to give them the service that we have promised and that they deserve.

Lately, however, there have been some rumors about the allegedly growing number of Crescent Processing Company complaints from merchant clients. According to the rumors, the subjects of the complaints are hidden fees, charging for supposedly free equipment, delayed awarding of agents’ commissions, and many others.

Some of the accusations are quite serious and can be very detrimental to the company’s reputation. For this reason, the Crescent Processing Company management has decided to speak up and clarify the issues once and for all. Here, we will address the Crescent Processing Company complaints one by one and give due explanation for each of them.

Hidden fees

All fees charged by Crescent Processing Company are outlined in the contract signed by both the Crescent representatives and the merchant client. Furthermore, all these fees are also clearly explained by the representative before the contract is formalized.

Charging for supposedly free equipment

Crescent allows merchants free use of credit card sales processing equipment – the Crescent Diamond, in particular. There is no charge for this service except for when the terminal is damaged in any way or if the merchant fails to return it upon termination of the contract.

Independent sales agents are also given a laptop to be able to process transactions faster and more securely. A deposit of $300 is deducted from each agent for the use of the laptop, which is taken in portions from each sale the agent makes. However, upon leaving the company, this deposit will be returned in full as soon as the agent surrenders the laptop.

Delayed awarding of commissions

It’s true that the awarding of sales commissions to agents is delayed – funds are released up to 3 days after date of activation – but this is no reason to file any Crescent Processing Company complaints because this is a rule that is clearly stated in the contract.

With the extremely large number of customers that we have, it cannot be avoided that some of them might file complaints for some reason or the other. But we would like to reassure our clients, as well as merchants who may be interested in working with us, that their interest is always our top priority. Should there be any complaints, we do give all efforts to resolve the matter in as little time as possible.
